Rogers interior painting from just up the road

If you're looking for interior painting in Rogers, Steve Greene Painting is based a short drive away in Rockford, so your house is close to home for us. A lot of Rogers housing went up in the last thirty years, and the work it needs is specific: oak or maple cabinets that look dated, builder flat paint that marks easily, and MDF trim with one thin coat. We spray cabinets, enamel trim properly, and patch and sand walls before anything gets rolled. We're rated 5 stars on Google, and the estimate is free.

Rogers covers a lot of ground since it absorbed Hassan Township: neighborhoods near I-94 and Highway 101, and larger rural lots out toward the Crow River. Those acreage homes tend to have more custom woodwork, tall great rooms, and stained trim, while the newer neighborhoods have builder-grade finishes. We treat each one differently. Stained trim in good shape gets refinished, builder trim gets enameled, and cabinets get the full degloss, prime and spray process.

Interior Painting Work in Rogers

01

Cabinet Enamel

Oak and maple kitchens converted to a sprayed enamel finish. Doors and drawer fronts come off and are finished flat so the coat levels without runs.

02

Trim Enamel

Baseboards, door casings and stair parts in a hard enamel that wipes clean, over properly sanded and primed MDF or pine.

03

Wall and Ceiling Painting

Great rooms, vaulted ceilings and stairwells painted with straight cut lines at full height and no lap marks.

04

Stain and Varnish Work

Stained trim and built-ins in custom acreage homes cleaned, sanded and re-coated so the wood looks like wood again.

05

Water-Damaged Ceiling Restoration

Water stains from roof or plumbing leaks sealed, repaired, texture-matched and repainted so they don't bleed back through.

How It Works

From Estimate to Final Walk-Through

No handoffs and no surprise scope changes. Here's how a Rogers job runs.

  1. 01

    Free In-Person Estimate

Steve looks at the actual surfaces in your Rogers home, points out anything that will affect the finish, and gives you a clear scope before you commit.

  2. 02

    Prep, Then Paint

Patching, sanding, cleaning and priming come first. Floors and furniture get covered, and anything not being painted gets masked.

  3. 03

    Walk-Through and Cleanup

We clean up, then walk the finished work with you in good light. If something isn't right, it gets fixed before we leave.

One Crew, Start to Finish

Steve gives the estimate, and Steve's crew does the work. There's no salesperson handing your job to a subcontractor you've never met. That matters most on cabinet and trim jobs, where the result depends on how carefully the prep was done. Our Google reviews keep coming back to the same things: attention to detail, a clear explanation of the process, and a clean house at the end of the job.

Steve + Team did a phenomenal job painting all 4400 sq ft interior painting while we were on vacation for a week, even finishing the job early! They fixed drywall errors (of which I was oblivious prior to him pointing out the flaws in the initial quote), touched up the enamel/molding, and did a beautiful job beyond our expectations even cleaning up so well after themselves. We were beyond impressed and would absolutely hire them again and recommend others do the same!

On my main level, Steve painted my oak kitchen cabinets, fixed my ceiling and then resprayed the entire ceiling. I added on to the project and had the downstairs painted. Steve and his team did a great job. I was impressed with the responsiveness and attention to detail. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would definitely recommend!

Our wooden window sills/frames needed some repair, and we hired Steve and his team to re-stain and varnish all the window frames in our house. I can't believe the difference. Many of them were faded and some looked like the wood was starting to rot. After Steve and his team were here, they look completely different. They did a great job, and I would definitely hire them again. Steve is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain his process.

We hired Steve to white enamel our main level cabinets, molding and stairwell which initially were oak. The finished product was beautiful and he did such an exceptional job that we additionally had him paint our ceiling and walls. Steve is extremely knowledgeable, reliable and easy to work with. He is committed to providing high quality services at reasonable costs. We will definitely be using him again for future projects!

Frequently asked questions

Do you work in Rogers, MN?
Yes. Rogers is close to our Rockford base and well inside our service area. We work in the neighborhoods near I-94 and Highway 101 as well as the rural lots in the former Hassan Township.
Do you paint vaulted ceilings and two-story great rooms?
Yes. Tall walls and vaulted ceilings are common in Rogers homes, and they're where a rushed job shows: wavy cut lines at the ceiling, lap marks, and missed spots up high. We take the time to cut a straight line at full height and roll each wall in one continuous pass so the sheen stays even.
Can you paint my cabinets while we're still living in the house?
Yes. Doors and drawer fronts come off and are finished separately, and the cabinet boxes are masked and sprayed in place with the kitchen sealed off. You'll lose use of the kitchen for part of the job, and Steve will tell you how long during the estimate. Our cabinet enamel page has the full process.
What's the difference between painted trim and trim enamel?
Enamel cures harder and levels out smoother than wall paint, so baseboards and door casings resist scuffs and wipe clean. On builder MDF trim, a coat of enamel over proper prep makes the trim look finished instead of primed. See trim enamel for details.
How do I get a price for my Rogers project?
Call (763) 228-5544 or send the estimate form. Steve will come look at the job and give you a clear scope before anything is scheduled.
